Monday again.

Where does the days go that is my life?

The days run away, the only good thing about it is how much fun i have living them.

This weekend i have been riding and playing around with the horses, together with my wonderful husband, and sunday his granddaughter joined us. It was so fun to see the horses interact with her. Felix usually doesn't pay a lot of attention to others then me, but he sure wondered about who that little girl was :-) 

She was a little bit careful, afraid of getting to close, but after we took him out to tack him up she even went under his stomach and helped me put polo wraps on his legs. 

He is getting so much stronger, i can't wait until Paula is here again to hear what she has to say. November we gonna ride for Tom Paulin also, will be another fun experience to ride for another coach. I don't know much about him, but everything is worth trying at least once. 

Things are happening in fast speed, and now we have started to look at farms to see if we can find something we would enjoy growing old on, with all the horses and the time together it would give us.

So off to the stables for me, horses is waiting to be exercised and me to start this week.

Let no one tell you what you can or can't do, stay in control of your self and your own choices, just make sure the one in the mirror looking back at you is proud of what he sees.

How can i ever ask for more?

I had such a great day, nothing special just smiling because i can live me life this way. The sun been good today, and i been sitting in the grass out in the pasture just looking at the horses. Phil is such a baby, he plays and have fun just having us around. I tried to take pictures of him but got only one :-D

Was riding Felix and Dondi today, and they was booth good. The most fun was when i walked behind Felix, he has been turning his left hind leg a little, but he had shoes on, and in a way i wasn't impressed with the way they was put on, so we pulled them off. He doesn't twist his hind leg any more :-D 

He really is getting so much better, it is so fun working him and see the strength build up. 

Dondi was great in the canter today, she has been diving a lot in the transition, but getting better. Today she had 3 out of 5 where she didn't do it at all to the left, and only 1 to the right. 

Phil was like always just telling us he want more company, more treats and a lot more attention, so he gonna move to the stable where the 2 other is soon, i can't wait to have them all together. 

Another wonderful day spend with the love of my life, and the best pet's i ever could ask for. 

Anyone wonder why i am smiling?

New week and some updates :-)

The vet said get on his back and ride him :-) so Phil. He still is on medicine for 2 more weeks, but i will work him and put some muscles back on from the ground. Looking forward to it, gonna be fun to see what he will be able to do, and how he will enjoy going back to work.

Felix had a check up yesterday to, he does great, getting stronger and enjoy work. He is better in the transitions so the flying changes will be good in a few weeks, he hasn't been doing them other then when jumping before, so a little change of balance and self carriage is needed to get them in place, but he tries so hard.

Dondi was doing great in the canter on friday, she need to get more up in front, for some reason she dives into the first canter strike, so we are building strength and she will do great. Another horse where transitions and corners seems to be the key.

So fun to be allowed to enjoy the days with this wonderful horses.

I am so blessed being able to and being supported to do what i love. A great thanks to my wonderful husband, I wouldn't be able to without his support and help.

Can someone wake me up?

For some reason my body don't wanna wake up today, it is tired and feel heavy. I guess it start to feel the temperature changes coming.
That for sure is a day to remember the fun in what i am supposed to do today, it helps to know who and what is waiting.
It is wedensday and it is the day my husband and i go out for dinner, to be alone and enjoy each others company. Before that happen i am gonna ride and enjoy my day with the horses, so that helps a lot.

Was so fun to ride Dondie yesterday, she was forward and still in place for working, and Felix felt like he already added more muscles to his body last weekend, he was much more in place and self carrying, Guiness is also fun to ride now that he don't dive or put his head up high in all the transitions. Hugs is the best arabian i ever been riding, but then i have to admit i haven't been riding to many of them, but he is a great working horse with an amazing rhythm. So i better get this body going, new adventures waiting, and new possibilities to share.

Oh and i saw the 2 year old i want have a rider on his back for the first time yesterday, it was amazing!!!
I always said he is made for riding, and he love people and what ever they do with him, Express did allowe Roberto to enter his back like he done it ten thousand times before, that horse is just something special.
So for anyone that wants a young horse with hugh potential, he sure is to die for.

Felix is a great horse, and we for sure will have loads of fun.

Today i am gonna ride Dondie, Phx, Hugs, Guiness, Soxy, Lennox and Merlin to, so Felix has to wait until later today, but always fun to have something to look forward to :-)

Gonna be fun to start Dondie, and see how long time she needs before she look like a bodybuilder, she is so fun.
I am lucky and i am so grateful i am allowed to do this every day. Who could ever ask for more?

Monday! Is it a bad thing or a good thing?

I had a great weekend, it was so fun to ride in the clinic, Felix was trying sooooo hard. Like i said earlier, he's heart is as big as him. Paula gave us some things to improve and work on getting muscles and balance. It will be so fun to keep up the work, and hopefully find a way to have some lessons with her Friday, before she has to judge this weekend at the Horse Park.

Another thing that wasn't that fun, is to find out that people just don't know how to keep their mouth shut. For some reason it seems like people find so much joy in telling about everything they hear or see, and even add a bit to it, but i guess the best thing is to ignore it. The sad thing is, this might end up in me not taking Phil and try to recover him anyway, but as life have teached me, "Things happen for a reason, even though you might not see it at once" so i guess if that's the deal, it wasn't meant to be.

I saw this pick's and ust have to share them, because this is my Monday.

I would add, even if you see it or hear it, do you really need to run around telling it?

That is so true, so i keep smiling and know that accepting it will make it easier, and i will be the one in control of me. 

Today i will get a few answers on how next years competition season will look, and i am so exited. Looking forward to ride the horses,  and best thing of it all looking forward to share it with my hubby, and few friends i choose myself. Because friends are family you choose, and i have learned to choose more wisely.

Today is a day with a lot of things happening :-)

Today Dondie is coming down from Indiana, I really looking forward to work with her again, Thank you sooooo much Natacha for picking the girl up.

Gonna be great to ride her each day at Stonehurst. I am so lucky to work out of there, the people is great, the environment great and the horses couldn't be more fun and challenging.

Today we also going to a clinic with Paula Kierkegaard, riding Felix. He is a BIIIG boy, 17.1 hands and his heart is as big as his height. Gonna be a great day with a challenge, since i never ride for Paula before, but what i heard i think we booth will enjoy ourselves. 

And the best of it all, my dear husband going with me, so we will enjoy the day together even though i am gonna ride. 

I think he enjoy the horses to, even though he don't ride, but i hope i will be able to have him trail ride one day :-) 

Phil started his medicine yesterday, so in a couple of weeks we might know a lot more about how he will feel in his body also, so this is for sure days with a lot of joy and fun.

I just love my life, and feel s blessed being allowed to live it this way.
